Please be advised that the undersigned has received your shipment of [quantity] [description of goods] pursuant to our contract dated [Date of contract]. Under that contract, the undersigned was obligated to pay for the goods prior to inspecting them. However, the goods were shipped to the undersigned with the following obvious nonconformity:
[Description of nonconformity].
Pursuant to [local statutory citation of UCC $ 2-512(1).a] of [Name of state], the undersigned has the right to reject the goods, and the undersigned hereby does reject the goods because of the obvious nonconformity.
